Simply Obsessed Reveal.....

Okay everyone I am going to give this a try by posting it on my blog.  I was excited to share my reveal with you and then blogger went wacky.  I hope this time it will be okay.  I loved this kit so much but then again I love all the kits!!!! My favorite things in the kit were the burgundy flower and the bingo numbers.  I loved the flower because there were so many things you could do with it. You could use it flat like it came, roll the petals under, ink the petals, or do as I did crumble the petals to give it dimension.  I have been in California for the last few weeks so it gave me the opportunity to look through some old family albums that my mother has.  The first layout has a picture of my mom and us kids in front of the Winchester House in Northern California.
Here is an up close pic of the flower and details.... I used the flower crumbled and the packaging from the butterflies and from the flower in the layout.

For the second picture I used a picture of my Grandmother and her brother that was taken in 1932.

The third project I did was from Mo's Digital Pencil and I used Promarkers to color it.  I used the cute bingo numbers, made my own lollipop flowers and again used some of the packaging from the butterflies.
Here is the inside of the card
I hope that you have as much fun with the kit as I did.... and I cant wait to see all of your creations in the gallery at  Simply Obsessed.

Sorry...

I am really sorry that I have not been around.  As you probably gathered I scheduled my last few posts.  I have been in California for the last month dealing with a ton of stuff and seeing the fam.  I am now home and ready to jump back into things.  I will be restarting Trade it Thursdays, posting my DT work, and will be having a giveaway.  I just need to get over this jetlag and organize the art room.  I got so many scrappy things while in the Cali that they filed one whole suitcase.  I am very excited to share some of it with you.  Thanks everyone for your comments and emails.  Things will be back to the norm shortly.
